For energy renovation, eligibility turns on the building being more than ten years old, counted from the date the building permit was delivered and checked at the date of the accord de principe request. Article 3(1) of the loi du 24 juillet 2026, published in Mémorial A n° 416.

For energy renovation, the request for the accord de principe goes in before the works begin. For every measure, the claim goes in within four years of 31 December of the invoice year.
